“Saviour Effiong is a motivated acquirer of knowledge and skills with staunch adherence to productivity and action. He rejects maintaining an intellectual status-quo, and strive to bring value to organization. He has more than one year of professional experience working as a psychotherapist. He is a fellow of Future of Work Industry Leaders fellowship, November, 2020 cohort.

He is among the fifteen young Nigerian Leaders selected from a pool of over hundreds of applicants into Jelas’ Development Initiative-Leadership Exchange Programe, October, 2020 cohort. He is one of the participants of Commonwealth100 Leadership Training Program, November, 2020 cohort.

Saviour volunteered as a National Ambassador for Nigerian Busines Coalition Against AIDs, (NiBUCAA), during his National service year. Of recent, he has received an offer from Global Youth Mental Health Awareness, to serve as a volunteer.

Saviour Effiomg is a recent graduate of Psychology from University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in the same institution. Just of recent, he has completed a certificate program on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, from University of East Anglia, England. Moreso, he is currently enrolling in another Certificate program on Youth Mental Health, in the same institution.

He is a passionate member of One Million Leaders Africa (OMLA). Also, he is an active member of Next Leaders Initiative For Sustainability (NELIS) global.

Saviour is passionate about Civic Leadership, Mental Health, and Research; especially multidisciplinary research; borrowing from Neurochemistry and Psychopharmacology. His area of interest is in Substance Abuse/Addiction, and how these relate to Mental Health.
