GAICAM 2018 REPORT 09
GAICAM JOINS THE COMMONWEALTH NATIONAL POPULARIZATION CAMPAIGN
The entire GAICAM family answered present at the official launching ceremony of the 2018 National Popularization Campaign on Commonwealth core values and principles under the theme “Unity in Diversity, Inspiring Cameroonians Youths through the Commonwealth Core Values and Principles of respect for the Rule of Law, Tolerance, Mutual Respect and Understanding”.
Officiating over the campaign in Buea, the Minister Delegate at the Ministry of External Relations in charge of the Commonwealth H. E Felix Mbayu called on the young people who came from other parts of the South West region to remember the Commonwealth core values internalize them and live by them.
Over 28 members of GAICAM led by the Executive Director Mr. Taminang Search and the Project Manager Mr. Sinjoh Armstrong took part in this highly enriching seminar which shows the cordial relationship which GAICAM has with the Ministry of External relations in charge of Commonwealth.
Being part of this event prompted GAICAM to commit to herself to promoting Commonwealth core values and principles among youths especially with regards to sustainable development and youth empowerment which are within her jurisdiction.
GAICAM has since her inception kept to her commitment to empowering Cameroonian and African youths to becoming better person as such being helpful to their various communities, while respecting the rule of law and state institutions.
